Describe some challenges that you face in your current role?

With my personal experience, I would say the most challenging part which I have faced in my initial days of Business Analysts role, work with diverse stakeholders, each with their unique expectations and priorities. Balancing conflicting interests and managing expectations can be daunting. It’s crucial to foster open communication, establish a shared vision, and create realistic project timelines and deliverables to keep stakeholders engaged and supportive. I was working on one of business requirement where I had to deal with 8 multiple stakeholders together. The business needs of each stakeholder where different, bringing them to the agenda is an art. Setting the expectation right with in scope and out scope of any project is crucial.
I would say I have matured now with time and now I know how to deal with their expectations. Stakeholders may have difficulty articulating their needs, leading to misunderstandings and scope creep during project execution. To address this, BAs must employ robust communication skills, actively engage with stakeholders, and clarify requirements through various elicitation techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and prototyping.
