Stuttering absolutely does not make anyone incompetent. It's important to realize that stuttering doesn't necessarily need to hold you back. Many people who stutter enjoy fulfilling careers as teachers, doctors, lawyers, executives, actors, comedians, soldiers, and so on. Some are even successful in sales roles and entrepreneurship, where communication is everything.
If you have a right skill set, attitude and behavior, any organization will hire you. _VOIS has a brilliant inclusive and diversity policy for hiring any new member and for existing employees.
Taking your time and saying what you want to say can help you reduce your stammering. Give yourself plenty of time when speaking and try to remain as calm as you can. Think of what you have to say before you say it and lay out your next sentence in your head. You may speak slower but it will help with stammering.
