The blank canvas of working on new products and the freedom to create
Managing projects heavily delivering on new products, services and content is very intimidating for alot of people but for me it is where I thrive.
I love the blank canvas that allows me to make things better and delight our customers with the best experience possible
Everyone can teach you something no matter who they are
Every opportunity you have is a learning one , whether it is positive or negative .
You will not always be accepted by everyone or everywhere ; that has no reflection on you or your abilities.
Always remember the people assessing you are just people; what they are looking for might not be but that doesn’t mean you aren’t good enough.
Every time you have an interview or a project do your best no matter what the outcome learn and keep learning every single day
Once you stop learning move
Delivering a product that helped people with disabilities
My team were delivering an application that helps people in assisted living situations to live a dignified and autonomous life by digitizing their day to day activities and giving them remote assistance .
I offered to use some of our team skills to improve the content we were providing in app including videos and user guides
We didn’t have to as it was not part of our scope but everyone working on it felt honored and touched that they were finally working on a product that wasn’t about making money it was about touching people’s lives
