Marketing journey from local client side to international advertising
I always knew that I wanted to work with and for people. I have started at a local cosmetic manufacturer and distributor in the Marketing Department and it determined my career path. Staying in marketing for 30 years gave me the opportunity to try myself out in several fields in client side and in advertising agencies, too. Handling numerous categories: FMCG, food, car, stationary, real estate, telco and brands like: McDonald's, Peugeot, Philips, Lurpak and Vodafone. This journey teaches me - still - how to create small adverts to define and implement 360° marketing campaigns, starting from understanding the client needs through strategic planning to delivering marketing assets, campaigns successfully, on time and with good client satisfaction scores in a humbled way.
I manage smooth operations to deliver creative marketing campaigns
I knew, I always wanted to work with and for people to support them, give them guidance, develop them and put them in the right direction to be more successful. I stayed in marketing, but with a bit of a twist. At _VOIS Powering Vodafone, I managed to find a place that fusions the client side with the international advertising agency experience. Here at Marketing _VOIS we are operating as an internal ad agency in Vodafone worldwide. My role is a Marketing Operational Manager, responsible for creating a stable, happy working environment, including hiring new team members, training employees and managing daily operations.
Time to time analysing and improving processes if needed to ensure everyone completes their tasks on schedule. My area with the creative services (copywriting, motion design, UX/UI design, graphic design) is supporting the Account Managers to assure that our creative deliverables are in high quality, meeting the deadlines with satisfied customer. We are not only creating digital assets, but with the UK Retail Team, we make sure that the POS materials are printed in the Vodafone stores throughout UK.
People management in a welcoming working environment and team spirit
Being a people manager gives me the opportunity to support employees in a different part of their professional journey and on their daily work:
- hiring new team members and supporting them with their fresh career start or career/workplace change
- giving the possibility to step up one level with promotions
- creating development plans for extending their learning path
- changing ways of working by creating new processes
- organising community events.
All in one: make our team members' lives easier in a workplace where everybody matters and nobody is left behind. You can only do it if you are passionate and care about people with 100% honesty and transparency. Seeing the teams happy, getting positive feedbacks and 'Thank you!' notes from them is my motivation!

I won the Leader of Future Award Top3 - nominated by my team members
I was very much surprised when I received the nomination for the Future Leader Award.
So, the first reaction? Surprise.
The second one? Honoured.
Very much honoured because it feels really, really good to work with such a good team and work for a team, and that the nomination wasn’t coming from management, but coming from the people I work with.
We work as a team and this is really teamwork.
It’s not only my award but it’s basically the team’s award.
It is an incredible achievement that, out of 120 nominees in small, medium and large enterprises in Hungary, I received the most nominations and, to tell you the truth, I cannot really put into words how much it means to me.
This award reinforces that I am doing something right. Transparency, leading with emotional intelligence, data-driven decisions, taking into consideration the emotional component.
I’ve been working in marketing for over 30 years, in advertising agencies and on clients’ side, and _VOIS Marketing in Budapest is the synthesis of all of my past or present experiences.
