I started off here 11 years ago with no experience in telecom. Today I am a part of the supply chain management and designated as a manager. The amount of learning, exposure and growth that I have got here, is what motivates me to continue working with this wonderful origination, culture and people.
I look after the procurement and sourcing support for VPC.
Managing supply chain operations and strategic sourcing support for Vodafone Procurement company. Liaising with category sourcing managers with various activities like Spend management, data analytics, coordination with various teams to deliver optimum results in time.
Everyday is a new learning day...
Supply Chain Management is so vast that everyday you get to hear of new scenarios and challenges. We have a mixed bag of people in the team with people who have 20+ years of experience in SCM and with people who have 3-5 years experience. However we get great ideas from all of them. If I ever get stuck at something, and reach out to my team, I get amazed by the amount of ideas that are put forward as possible solutions. This gives me immense confidence, trust and motivation to take up new challenges everyday. Its fun with learning.
Do what you like, like what you do...
Its very important to know what you like or what is it that gives you great motivation at work. Try and do more of that at work. Also whatever you do, give it your best shot. Put all your heart and soul into things that you have chosen for yourself. At the end of the day you need to feel happy about the work that you have done and it should motivate you to come back to it the next day too. If you love your work, the work will give you all the reason and opportunities to grow.
I have trained 10k+ audience in my career
When it comes to learning something new, I consider that I have learnt it well if Iam able to pass on the knowledge to someone in the most simplest manner. I have been a part of the Learning & Devcelopment team here for 5 years and during that period I have trained more than 10k+ people in soft skills and product related information. When I now see them performing and giving their best, It really feels great to be able to contribute to their life in the least possible way that I could.
