What do you like about your job and the company?

Working for _VOIS is the most exciting adventure I've ever been on. An adventure of keeping up with the on the edge technology and the changes happening with the speed of light. It's a place where you never get bored and that's what keeps me excited even after 8 years. Telco is one of the quickest changing (developing) industry and those changes are part of our daily routine. I've always been into sales and sales processes so leading a team (and being able to impact senior sales leaders with my ideas) which works directly with the biggest markets of Vodafone is a "living the dream" kind of motivation for me.

Greatest achievements

Managed to deliver 33% efficiency saving without a single role been cancelled in the 1st year in role! Keeping the momentum of growth and efficiency generation are key in every MNCs / Shared Services nowadays, though the HOW is always a big questions. This question gave me a bit of a headache as I could mention several big achievements (like awards I've received or exceptional operational performance) though the one I am the proudest of is this one. It took me and my entire team a man-trying hard work through an entire financial year to deliver the above mentioned ambitious number of efficiency. It worth every minute of work and as a side effect it has formed a stronger than ever bond & cooperation amongst the team members.

Big Goals Require Belief and Determination , So believe in yourself first–and put real effort behind that belief. Try to say yes to the things that scare you & constantly challenge yourself and allow yourself to become better and learn new things. Never stop learning, Knowledge is the one of the most important things to advance your Career , it is not mandatory to be technical knowledge by the way as any simple new thing may improve the way you think , Look and deal with situations. Challenging yourself can surprise you with the things you didn’t think you could do.

Its very important to know what you like or what is it that gives you great motivation at work. Try and do more of that at work. Also whatever you do, give it your best shot. Put all your heart and soul into things that you have chosen for yourself. At the end of the day you need to feel happy about the work that you have done and it should motivate you to come back to it the next day too. If you love your work, the work will give you all the reason and opportunities to grow.

The one thing I have always lived upon is taking risks and continuous learning. Some of us always hold back to ourselves with a fear of failure and hence we don't want to take risk. I have always taken a pause to self reflect and set goals to add to my learning and capabilities. If I have to talk about some of the key risks I have taken that would be taking the risk of change from a very settled process to a project which was not doing well. I have always chosen to be in a challenging role rather than sticking to your comfort zone. The comfort zone may give you peace for a while but the challenges keep you motivated and gives you the passion to keep working.
