Technology graduate to people manager & a full time mum to 2
Having started my career in outbound sales I moved to customer service about 11 years ago. At _VOIS, in a quick span of 1 year I was delegated tasks by my then manager which helped me hone new skills and upskill myself to be seen as a subject matter expert. From there with new challenges and learnings the journey to a people manager has been supported by my family & inspired by my colleagues. Not to mention my managers who guided along the way to help me reach here. Though its 10 years with _VOIS it feels like yesterday thanks to the great work culture we have here. Its nothing short of exemplary the way business is conducted at all ways with policies which are employee centric. Though I am a full time mother to 2 kids _VOIS policies have always been a great help to juggle work life balance. As you need a support system at home to be successful you also need one at the work place, which I experienced every step of the way and am grateful for the learnings that were selflessly handed down at every stage.
I manage technicians provide the best of customer experience
At the moment as an assistant manager with 2nd line home broadband support, I manage a team of technicians who aim to provide world class support and an amazing customer experience. I also enable them to upskill themselves and guide them on the next level progression through effective coaching. As a part of my role I am actively involved in providing key insights about our work to stakeholders and deliver process improvement ideas. Being a people manager is a joy as love interacting and understanding people. My learning continues at _VOIS as I am currently undertaking various courses through Vodafone University , which provides a plethora of learnings, thanks to the encouragement from my senior leadership.

To be able to innovate and ideate is the best part of the job, everyday gives a new challenge and make its interesting and ensure involvement of everyone at every level. Its a job that requires sound technical knowledge however the resources provided are excellent & support to make the job very easy.
